Finally finished with our little house after a month of work to get it ready to sell. It gets listed this weekend. Some of the work I did wasn’t really necessary to sell it, but it was work that I knew needed to be done in order for the house to be in a condition that would meet my requirements if I were to buy it again.

This cat…the best. We adopted Vincent (full name: Vincent Oliver Del Taco con Queso) a week or so after Marco passed away. He’s full of personality, completely independent, a risk-taker, and totally lovable. This photo very much sums him up.

Wife’s classroom was broken into—again—and more Lego/items stolen. She brought everything home. Pissed. Luckily, next year she’s moving from a portable (I’ve always hated those POS classrooms) to an actual classroom in a building that isn’t made from of scraps of wood and glue.

I bought one of those all-in-one Pioneer surround sound systems ~20 years ago and the 100 watt powered subwoofer amp started making a rumble noise last month. So, I bought a new Yamaha sub to replace it for $99. Sounds even better. Not bad for a stripped down setup from Best Buy.

More practice tracing in Affinity Designer. Focusing more on brushes, strokes, and line weight instead of just shapes. #Invincible

I’m not one to dwell on what happened on 9/11/2001, but every year I think about where I was. I was working near the WTC in Long Beach, CA. I woke up in my truck around 5:50 AM to go to work and heard Howard Stern announce that a plane crashed into the NYC WTC. It was surreal.
